BOULDER, CO, March 1, 2023 -- Picture Climate Justice is a global initiative created by United Nations Human Rights supported Photography 4 Humanity and Right Here, Right Now Global Climate Alliance, to empower people around the world at a grassroots level to capture images of people and the planet being impacted by climate change - then instantly upload them to a platform where they will be on display for the world to see. 

By encouraging and empowering everyone around the world to take pictures of climate justice issues with their phones, 365 days a year, Picture Climate Justice seeks to engage and empower people to document what is actually taking place on the ground in local communities around the world. Through a crowd sourced photo platform that displays images on Instagram, Picture Climate Justice provides a public forum for people to capture and post images that convey that climate change is a human rights crisis, to help democratize and humanize the issue so everyone will have the ability to be seen and heard.

By highlighting compelling imagery - illustrating courage, despair, hope, injustice, and compassion, in ways small and large, Picture Climate Justice encourages the public to personally get involved and to take a stand for climate justice.
