Right Here Right Now Global Youth Climate Summit: Oxford Saïd Unites the Next Generation of Climate Leaders

On June 6, 2025, Oxford University’s Saïd Business School, in partnership with UN Human Rights, convened a 24-hour virtual summit drawing students, educators, and advocates from across six continents. As a cornerstone of the Right Here Right Now Global Climate Summit, the Youth Climate Summit elevated young voices confronting the defining crisis of their time.

"At Oxford Saïd, we believe in nurturing leaders who can think globally and act responsibly," said Professor Soumitra Dutta, Peter Moores Dean, Oxford Saïd. "This platform empowers youth to articulate the challenges they face and deliver the solutions we urgently need."

The Right Here, Right Now Global Youth Climate Summit was a global business case competition that invited high school students around the world to develop real-world solutions at the intersection of climate, health, biodiversity, and human rights. Winners and finalists from the competition took center stage, showcasing actionable projects and entrepreneurial models that move beyond theory to drive meaningful climate action.

David Clark, Founder and CEO of the Right Here Right Now Global Climate Alliance, added: “Climate change is the defining challenge of our time. It is essential we listen to those who will inherit its impacts.”
